havent worked on stamps for a long time
i feel so unfamiliar when i hold the cutter
how to crave..

if it is not a gift i want to make
i dont think i could make it

many "first" time in making this stamp.

this is a gift that i am going to send out today.
a girl for her. Of course, i think she looks like the girl.

rubber from japan is a lot better than those from $10 or any other rubbers, insofar.

however, the price is a lot more from japan. mostly for the shipping.

why so much better?

1. smooth, other rubbers seem to be stick to the cutter
2. thicker, even you dont have the wooden handle, itself is already good enough
3. pretty color, yes for the rubber, they are either white in pink, yellow, green, black, purple
4. high density, more durable
5. good for details

i will keep using those rubber from $10 jusco shop. For the japan rubber, i guess i will use them for lace stamps, alphabet stamps...

(see? its in pink color itself for the surface, so pretty!)

(the ink pad isnt good. its from $10 shop. it is too wet, not even for the ink and hard to remove after using it. BTW, see the thickness of the stamp?)

I think i should have a proper ink pad and stamp cleaning tools.

This time, i only wash the stamp under water with soap.
