new love lately
having serious dark eye circle waiting to see improvement after using the new eye cream
i would need the help of concealer. i tried many and my conclusion is, the better coverage would be drier and vice versa. if you want to have a better performance, you have to apply an orange corrector.
what i have tried for concealer?
ipsa: the design of the compact is good but the brush is useless. low coverage for serious dark eye circle, small amount for each color and you have to mix for your best eye tone
cinema secrets: the performance is very good and i have been using for a year. only problem is, as i said, it is a bit dry so that you would need a very good eye base. there is no official retailer here in hong kong but it is famous in the states and in the field of performing arts.
shu uemura (liquid): it was good when i was young as the problem wasnt that serious. now i use it as a concealer for my face, nearly nose and lips area.
bobbi brown: the texture is creamy and i used up the whole one. problem is you need to buy the orange corrector and also the concealer itself and it is now too thin for me. however, the best thing is it comes with a prefect powder for the eye zone.
YSL: i dont like the color, seems too bright. and i dont like the design that it seems so tidy to use the brush all the time. also, too thin.
KP: it doesnt work for me.
jane iredale: thick texture, of course good coverage but dry. it is a mineral product meaning having no harm to your skin. best if you have serious skin problem or having a baby. just it is a bit expensive whenever it comes with mineral products. also, it is a recommended product by skin doctors.
octard: a japanese make up product. very good coverage. it can be used on top of the concealer if you can still see the dark circle. very fair price. but i seldom use it during my daily make up.
armani: thin sheer texture. i had been using it when i was younger. i will try it again later.
now, my new found is laura mercier. the concealer comes with 2 textures and a finishing powder for eyes. price is fair at $300.
i think, next time i will try becca.

well... apart from the concealer, i have the mineral face powder and eye shadow, face premier, foundation...
i still have many unfinished foundations and foundation compacts from different brands...
